So here is the big question…what are your plans for this Sunday?  If you haven’t heard yet, there is this really big football game that is going to be happening.  This is a perfect opportunity for you practices the God glorifying art of partying.  As you read the gospels, you see that Jesus and his peeps knew how to party.  When Matthew got saved, the first thing he did was have a party.  Jesus’ first miracle was at a party.  One of the first things we’ll do as a family when Jesus comes back is have a party.  So I think we have a strong foundation to stand on (well dance on…it is a party).

So here is the question again….what are your plans for this Sunday?  Are you going to have a Super Football party?  Are you going to attend a Super Football party?  Because one thing is for sure…there are a lot of lost people out there who are going to be looking to party this weekend.  So are you going to be their friend?  Because you have the ultimate reason to party…and it isn’t because your sports team of preference is playing.

You have hope and a new life.  So let it show.  Set up your big-screen tv (just not your projector screen), make you special queso recipe, put some cold ones on ice, and invite all your friends over to party!!!!!

Now some of you might say that we should boycott the Super Football Event because it only perpetuates the idolatrous hearts of the American culture towards the brutal savagery surrounding a pigskin ball.  And I would say to you…you know what maybe you should stay home….cause I don’t think you’ll be that fun to be around anyways.  We support your decision to boycott…um…but….can we borrow your folding chairs though?
