Honestly, there is this weird tension in me right now.  I’m sad that I’m saying goodbye to being the main contributor on this blog, but I feel a since of relief.  As you can probably tell, I haven’t had the time to devote to this blog as I did when I first started it several months ago.  Because of that, I’ve become overly guilty and stressed.  I love beer, and I love the friends that I’ve made through this blog.

I’m also feeling a sense of excitement at the possibilities.  As I said in the video, thebeerean.com is now open for anyone to contribute.  You simple have to be a registered user.  To start off with I’ll be checking posts before the go live…but as someone shows that they aren’t a spammer I’ll give them full rights to post their articles right away.  I hope that thebeerean.com continues on after me to be a vibrant community where believers can share their views on God, Jesus, the Bible, and beer.

Don’t worry though.  I’ll still be around in the comments and at my personal web site.  I fully intend to be part of this community as it grows.  And don’t forget, “We’ll always have Paris.”  Wait no…umm….

Remember “whether you eat or drink, do it all to the glory of God.”

Great video man, I’ve enjoyed your beer tips of the week, I would like to become a contributor but not now. I’ve also got way to many things on my plate. Maybe in November :-)

Thanks again and keep it real bro :-)

Thanks ethan. I look forward to reading your posts (in November).

we won’t let you down

@vince: Thanks brother. And I already love the post the you put up.

Dude…I just…

Dude…I mean…

I need a beer…

Clayton Bells last blog post..Video Friday!

@Clayton – I’m sorry brother. But like I said…I’ll still be around in the posts. I’ll be like that weird uncle that came for the weekend…but never went away (except I won’t be an alcoholic…and I’ll bathe).

That’s a bummer Greg…my old computer died and I lost all the feeds so I missed this one. I can’t disagree with your perspective, so I understand. I probably won’t post up on here, although it’s a cool idea, because I don’t want to abuse the Beerean and use it to drive traffic to my blog, but I’ll still follow other contributors.
Peace, bro…enjoy Oktoberfest!

nates last blog post..What’s in your beer/what’s your beer made of? (PartIIIb)

Nate….abuse away my friend…I want people to realize that Christians aren’t a competitive community but that we are cooperative. So use, abuse, and whatever else you can think of.

Greg I understand where you are coming from, blogs are time consuming. I try to do things at my blog on a monthly schedule. This may not attract as many readers as having new material each week but that is my pace which keeps me from becoming burned out.

I know you like Shiner beers and I found a Shiner Bohemian Black Lager while on the West side of Michigan. That was a really good Schwarzbier.

I said this before and I will say it again, I really enjoy your blog and I’m glad we crossed paths. Like you I wondered if there was other Christians you enjoyed beer as I did. You answered that question.

No matter what I will always check in to see what is going on at the Beerean. You and your family is in my prayers.

God Bless.

hey man. Loving your site. Was doing some research for a bible study i am leading and stumbled upon it. My fav part is the intro song. I will be singing that one for the next month. I even had to show it to everyone around. So question, when you record these glorious moments of wisdom are you ‘buzzed’ or do you save your beering for post filmage.

BigBs last blog post..CNN asks a great question: What Would Jesus Brew?
