This is a really interesting convo. Let’s start it back up. I’m just finishing college now, and I’ve been battling this in my head if its ok or not. I’m completely 50/50 if its ok to have the intention of getting buzzed.

I think it’s a semantic discussion. Like a few have said so far, a ‘buzz’ means different things to different people. It made Him happy (judges 9:13) I am sure.

Jesus was fully divine and fully human. He could not get drunk because of being divine. He was fully human so if he drank any quantity of wine it would of effected him as it did any other human. The question is if Jesus drank only a glass of wine with his meals? I could drink and never get a buzz if the only time I drank was just one drink at a meal. Did Jesus ever drink wine on a empty stomach. For me it don’t take a whole lot to feel a buzz without food to absorb the alcohol.
